Miss Spider's Tea Party

I read Miss Spider's Tea Party and then let the children try three different teas and vote on their favorite one we also charted our answers and analyzed the data. We made Miss Spider and used pixie 2 to write about the story in the computer lab.

Measuring

We started our pumpkin unit on measuring how many pumpkins tall we were then making a class book. When we finished our writing how tall we were we found friends and discussed who was taller and who was shorter; we then put the whole class in order from tallest to shortest.

We did patterns using different costumes. I gave the children the sheet and they had to color, cut then put them in a pattern of their choice and label.

Fiction and Non-Fiction

We have been learning about Fiction and Non-Fiction books, as I read a book we discuss which one it is then chart. The children are referring back to it as we read and discuss new books.
