Random thoughts

I so have got to stop looking at other blogs that have Target buys. I look at them and just have to have one thing then go to the store and well I end up walking out with more than just one thing that I just had to have. Here is a picture of my recent purchases, I was really surprised about the table pocket chart I have been wanting one of those for awhile.



I used my cricut to fancy up the purple bins from Target and I will be using these for my lessons for each day.




I also used my cricut to make a few other things, I am really enjoying the time off and being able to make things for my room.



Since I am changing grades and will probably have the same kids (not sure) I want to change my room up a bit so it doesn't look exactly the same as last year but I don't want to spend a fortune doing it. I have been taking some old things and adding or changing them to make them look different. This is my writing table from last year, all I did was staple fabric around it and gave it a whole new look.

Crafts

I just love the summer time and having the time to create. Here are a few projects I have finished for my room, the crayon wreath will go outside my door, the flowers are pens for my desk, the suckers are going to be reward and the notebooks is for my summer to do list I just got a cricut and hope to have many more projects done since I have started my craft/teacher room YEAH.

I of course didn't come up with the idea of the crayons, I wanted to give credit but it seems a couple different ladies have them on their blogs and they both did it different ways. I used a styrofoam ring and wrapped fabric around it then just hot glued the crayons on.

Summer

My new passion is pinterest, I'm so addicted. I recently had to put my computer in the shop and all my crafts for the summer where in my favorites so I have had to put some on hold (uggg). So wish I would of heard about Pinterest and Box.net a few weeks ago, they are both online storage so if you find yourself without your computer for awhile it will not be a problem. On a happy note I went to Salvation Army and was able to find this beauty (it will be when I get through painting it), and these books (21 books for .99 Wish I would had gone there before half priced books, Salvation Army was half the price.

Question

Please help me! I am not sure what I should do with my blog, since I will be teaching first grade do I start a new blog or rename this one? I am also in need of a good name. When I started blogging there werent' many other blogs out there and I didn't really think about making a cute name or if I would even really get into blogging so I just used my name. Well almost two years later I have become obsessed with blogging and would love a cute name, do you have any ideas?

Changes

My school year is officially over, wow it went so fast. I have tried to write this post for weeks but hard to put all my feelings in words. I have decided to change grade levels and I will be teaching first grade next year. I have taught kinder for six wonderful challenging years and I have truly loved it, but many things factored into my decision and I felt it was time for a move. We are going to have a lot of changes at my school next year and I had to say goodbye to my classroom,and a wonderful principal today and it was difficult. I am very excited about the move but also very scared but luckily I will have some great team mates that will be able to help me, and of course I have blog world. If you follow my blog I hope you continue because I still will be posting but of course now it will be a first grade blog. Wish me luck.
