Pumpkins

We have been working on observational writing and the children used their pumpkins to write about this week. The children took a pumpkin and decorated it as their favorite character.

Measuring

We started our pumpkin unit on measuring how many pumpkins tall we were then making a class book. When we finished our writing how tall we were we found friends and discussed who was taller and who was shorter; we then put the whole class in order from tallest to shortest.
