Snowflakes
I read "Snowflake Bentley" then the children made snowflakes out of coffee filters and wrote what they would do if they were a snowflake. We also looked at Mr. Bentley's snowflake pictures at http://snowflakebentley.com/WBsnowflakes.htm.

They look so intent as they write their sentences! I LOVE that! I have just heard about Snowflake Bentley and now I have to get this book myself-what a great intro to snowflakes!
